SHEATH COULD BE MUCH BETTER FOR THE PRICE. HAVE ALREADY CUT THROUGH SIDE STICHING.

Great reproduction, don’t miss the original serrations. Really like the contrasting gray handle ( like some of the earlier MK II models ). Pretty sharp out of the box, but who doesn’t like touching up a new edge? Seems really well made, good work MAC
Leather sheath is somewhat flimsy, although deigned from the original. Thicker leather would be worth paying an extra $50.

Gerber MK II replica
I've been a Gerber MKII collector for many years and I own an original made in 1970 that was carried by friend in Vietnam. This is the 2nd knife I've bought and my plan is to give this one to a friend who served with the 5th SFG in Vietnam. The knife is spot-on to the original, my only gripe is the sheath, it should have the hanger wire at the top and the lanyard is plastic but that didn't stop me from purchasing another for someone I hold in high esteem. GREAT PRODUCT ?
